These Terms and Conditions govern our general business practices, appointment scheduling, cancellations, payments, refunds, treatment expectations, and customer responsibilities.

Services may include:

  • Professional skincare consultations and treatments.

  • Customized facial and skin rejuvenation services.

  • Chemical exfoliation and resurfacing treatments.

  • Medical aesthetic procedures.

  • Skincare product consultations and retail sales.

  • Additional cosmetic and aesthetic services offered by licensed professionals.

All services are subject to availability, professional assessment, clinical appropriateness, and applicable regulations.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, postpone, or decline services when clinically appropriate or otherwise permitted by law.

3. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING

Appointments may be scheduled through our designated online booking system, by telephone, or in person.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and arriving at their scheduled appointment time.

Clients should arrive with sufficient time to complete any necessary paperwork, medical history updates, or consultations.

Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or the need to reschedule when sufficient time is unavailable to complete the service safely.

No appointment deposit is required when scheduling services at The Skin Shop by Sara, LLC. However, a credit card must be placed on file to reserve the appointment. Clients remain responsible for applicable cancellation and no-show fees as outlined below.

4. CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

The Skin Shop by Sara values the time reserved for each client and strives to maintain appointment availability for all clients.

24-Hour Cancellation Requirement

Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring a cancellation fee.

Late Cancellation Fee

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price. If the scheduled service was Botox Cosmetic, there will be a flat fee of $250.

No-Show Fee

Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment without providing notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price. If the scheduled service was Botox Cosmetic, there will be a flat fee of $250.

Repeated Cancellations or Missed Appointments

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in restrictions on future scheduling privileges.

Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occur. Exceptions to cancellation and no-show fees may be considered at the owner’s discretion.

Cancellation and no-show fees will be disclosed before booking and charged only when authorized and permitted by applicable law. By booking an appointment after receiving these terms, clients acknowledge the cancellation policy; any authorization to charge a payment method will be obtained separately where required.

Late Arrival

Arriving more than 5 minutes late may result in a shortened treatment time or a canceled appointment with a fee, to protect the schedule of subsequent clients.

If The Skin Shop by Sara cancels an appointment, the client will not be charged a cancellation fee.

5. APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS

The Skin Shop by Sara, LLC does not require appointment deposits.

Appointments may be scheduled without advance payment, unless a separate prepaid service or promotional purchase is voluntarily selected.

Clients remain responsible for applicable cancellation and no-show fees under Section 4.

Any future changes to this deposit policy will be communicated before they apply to new appointments.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered.

We may accept cash, approved credit or debit cards, gift certificates, and other designated payment methods. Clients are asked to present the credit used for payment at the time of payment to avoid an alternate credit card use fee.

Clients are responsible for the cost of services and products they authorize or purchase.

Prices are subject to change. Any changes to published prices will apply prospectively and will not alter previously agreed prepaid purchases without appropriate agreement.

Promotions, discounts, and special offers may be subject to separate terms and eligibility requirements.

7. REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

Completed Services

Completed aesthetic and medical aesthetic services are generally nonrefundable because professional time, supplies, and individualized services have been provided.

Refund requests involving billing errors, incomplete services, or other exceptional circumstances will be reviewed individually. Nothing in this policy limits remedies required by law.

Retail Product Returns

Unopened, unused retail skincare products may be returned within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date, provided that:

  • The product is in its original packaging.

  • The product is unopened and unused.

  • Proof of purchase is provided.

  • The product is not damaged or altered.

Opened or used skincare products are generally not eligible for return, except where required by law or in cases of defective merchandise.

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

Treatment Packages

Refunds involving prepaid treatment packages will be handled according to the written package terms and applicable law, accounting for services already provided.

Gift Cards

Gift cards will be honored in accordance with applicable federal and Arkansas state laws, including requirements concerning expiration dates and fees.

8. CONSULTATIONS AND TREATMENT ELIGIBILITY

Certain services require a professional or medical consultation before treatment.

Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, prior treatments, and other factors that may affect treatment safety.

Our licensed professionals may recommend alternative treatments, postpone services, or decline procedures that are not clinically appropriate.

Medical aesthetic treatments will be performed only by appropriately authorized professionals, Registered Nurse or Physician, and under any required medical oversight.

9. INFORMED CONSENT

Before receiving applicable medical aesthetic procedures, patients must complete any required treatment-specific informed consent documentation.

Informed consent may address:

  • The nature and purpose of the proposed treatment.

  • Expected benefits and realistic outcomes.

  • Potential risks, complications, and side effects.

  • Reasonable treatment alternatives.

  • Pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.

  • Financial responsibilities.

Clients will have the opportunity to ask questions before providing consent.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions does not replace informed consent for any specific procedure.

Clients retain the right to decline or withdraw consent to treatment, subject to applicable law and financial obligations already lawfully incurred.

10. TREATMENT RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS

The Skin Shop is committed to providing individualized, professional aesthetic care.

However, treatment outcomes vary based on individual skin characteristics, anatomy, medical history, age, lifestyle, and adherence to treatment recommendations.

No specific result, degree of improvement, or duration of results is guaranteed.

Certain treatments may require multiple sessions or ongoing maintenance.

Clients acknowledge that potential risks and side effects will be explained through the consultation and informed consent process.

Clients should promptly report unexpected reactions or concerns. Medical emergencies require immediate emergency medical attention.

11. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete relevant medical information.

  • Disclose known allergies, sensitivities, medications, and medical conditions.

  • Follow appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.

  • Notify our professionals of significant changes in medical history.

  • Communicate concerns or unexpected treatment reactions promptly.

  • Treat staff and other clients respectfully.

  • Comply with established appointment and payment policies.

Failure to follow treatment instructions may adversely affect outcomes or increase the risk of complications.

12. MINORS AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

Certain services may be restricted based on age, clinical appropriateness, and applicable law.

Clients under 18 years of age may require parental or legal guardian consent, depending on the treatment.

The Skin Shop may establish additional age restrictions for specific services when clinically appropriate.

Proof of age or guardianship may be requested.

13. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

The Skin Shop respects the privacy of all clients and patients.

Personal information, treatment records, medical histories, and other confidential information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and healthcare laws.

Where applicable, our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how protected health information may be used, disclosed, and safeguarded.

Clients are encouraged to review our separate Notice of Privacy Practices and website privacy policy.

These Terms and Conditions do not authorize disclosure of protected health information for marketing or other purposes requiring separate authorization.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MARKETING

Clinical photographs may be used for treatment planning, documentation, and evaluating treatment outcomes when appropriate and legally permitted.

The use of identifiable client photographs, videos, testimonials, or treatment information for advertising, social media, or promotional purposes requires a separate written authorization.

Clients may decline optional marketing photography without affecting their eligibility for otherwise appropriate services.

15. SKINCARE PRODUCTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Skincare products sold or recommended by The Skin Shop are intended to support individualized skincare routines and treatment goals.

Clients are responsible for reviewing product ingredients and communicating known allergies or sensitivities.

Products should be used according to labeling and individualized professional instructions.

Unless specifically represented otherwise, retail skincare products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Threatening behavior, harassment, discrimination, or conduct that compromises the safety of clients or staff will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue nonemergency services when permitted by law.

Discontinuation of an established healthcare relationship will be handled in accordance with applicable professional obligations.

20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Skin Shop by Sara, LLC is not responsible for losses arising solely from unauthorized website use, service interruptions beyond our reasonable control, or inaccurate information voluntarily provided by users, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions releases The Skin Shop or its professionals from liability for professional negligence, medical malpractice, unlawful conduct, or other responsibility that cannot legally be waived.

Treatment-specific risks will be addressed through appropriate informed consent.

21. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Skin Shop may use third-party providers for online scheduling, payment processing, and other business functions.

These providers may maintain separate terms of service and privacy policies.

Updated terms may be posted on our website or made available at our business location.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law and will not retroactively alter existing contractual rights without appropriate agreement.

23. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, except where federal law or another mandatory legal requirement applies.

Nothing in these Terms limits a client's right to file a complaint with a professional licensing board, regulatory agency, or other authorized government body.

24. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
