Medical Aesthetics

What do we mean by medical aesthetics? Medical aesthetics generally refers to a field of treatments that lie between plastic surgery and standard day-spa treatments. Medical aesthetics are non-surgical, minimally invasive cosmetic treatments. At the Skin Shop by Sara it is our standard that all medical procedures are performed only by a registered nurse or physician. A consultation is required prior to your first treatment. You will meet with our highly trained and experienced team to listen and provide an individualized treatment plan.

BOTOX® Cosmetic - The one. The only. BOTOX® Cosmetic. FDA approved for the treatment of moderate to severe lines in the forehead, glabella, crows feet and neck.

Microneedling - Microneedling uses a sterile, one-time use needle head that creates tiny micro-channels in the skin that stimulate collagen production. Traditionally referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), this treatment naturally stimulates collagen production to improve the appearance of fine lines, pores, acne scars and more. Safe and effective for all skin types, microneedling is one of the best treatments on the market today. 

Chemical Peels - Chemical peels are designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin. They can help improve skin texture, pigmentation, acne, acne scars and rough, dry or sun-damaged skin. They can also stimulate collagen and help fight aging and inflammation. 

Lamprobe - A non-invasive cosmetic treatment for the removal of minor, benign skin irregularities. Examples include cherry angiomas, skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, seborrheic keratosis and dermatosis papulosa nigra (DPN).
